Feelin Good

Yup, the knitted goodness is just flowing. I've only got one sleeve left to do on my Sahara and it's looking and feeling good. I was a little worried at first that it wasn't going to stretch across my chest and it would be too tight, but it's just right. I'm going to make another one in summer colors with short sleeves. The P3tog tbl wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be. All I had to do was roll the 1st stitch of the P3tog so that it loosened up the trio and it made it easy to get the needle through. And I'm really thankful for my Knit Picks needles right now. They are so sharp and slippery that it made it even nicer.

I'm almost done with the first repeat of the pattern on my Twisted Flower socks. After round 17 of the lace pattern it starts with these twisted cable stitches that I had a lot of trouble with at first. I twisted them the wrong way and had to re-twist them the other way on the next round. Then it proceeds to add twists as the sock leg progresses and it is really crazy. I've started calling them the psycho socks. They are twisting this way, then that way, then the other way again and it's like being on a roller coaster. I'm on Round 27 of the 32 round repeat so the twists don't last too much longer. I don't know if I could take it the whole way.

The Sahara Sweater is beautiful and the picture in no way does it justice. The yarn is so shiny and the stitches are perfect. I can't believe how speedily your Twisted Flower socks are coming along. I love the color! They are beautiful and the stitch definition is insane; I can't get enough of the Louet Gems!
